What is Aggregate Function in LINQ?

What is Aggregate Function in LINQ also define the sum(), min(), max(), count(), average() with example?

An Aggregate function takes more than two arguments and works on the requirement. there are many aggregate functions in LINQ

SOME function of LINQ

  1. SUM()    return the sum of a collection
  2. MIN()    return the minimum of collection
  3. MAX()     returns the maximum collection
  4. COUNT()    return the length of the collection
  5. Average()    return is the average of a collection
  6. Aggregate()   returns the value as needed from a collection
